The Commanders’ offseason overhaul of their offensive line continued Monday as the team signed center Michael Deiter in free agency.
The former Houston Texan started 12 games last season, delivering snaps to Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud.
Before joining the Texans in 2023, Deiter started 23 games for the Miami Dolphins from 2019 through 2022.
The Wisconsin product is the latest addition for a Washington offensive line that allowed a league-leading 65 sacks last season. The Commanders had already signed center Tyler Biadasz and guard Nick Allergretti in free agency.
