OPINION:
It is often expensive and complicated for an American to get a student visa in a foreign country — yet many people are confounded as to why the U.S. must have immigration laws.
The priority of most politicians is to get reelected. The number of people who vote illegally in this country is high enough to make this contingent politically expedient, so most media have changed their information priority from “correct” to “politically correct.” That’s why we are bombarded with the term “undocumented” instead of “illegal” when referencing illegal immigrants. Anyone who dares call these people what they is labeled a “hater.” We don’t castigate foreign countries for protecting their borders, we only do it to our honest citizens for demanding the same.
Using this same logic, shall we refer to the latest rash of retail gang looters as “undocumented customers” and issue them free bonus cards?
We must confront the realities of our time and uphold the rule of law, lest we become another banana republic being fled. Voters are discouraged from doing this when incidents and situations are improperly described.
