The true sign of human resolve is the ability to resist distraction. While temptation lurks at every turn for us all, it is those noble people of intense fortitude who maintain their focus as they forge ahead through the fires of life. These timeless indicators of personal success are also principles of civilizational survival.

As President Biden — the worst U.S. president since James Buchanan — ceded his candidacy to Vice President Kamala Harris, the world continued to spin out of control. I call on the American people to set their eyes upon the creation of a better future. Owing to the failed Biden-Harris agenda, our border is open and our country remains vulnerable to foreign invasion.

Former President Donald Trump has a record of security at our border, as he has repelled terrorists from our nation. He will do the same in a second term. Mr. Trump also lowered corporate tax rates to historic lows while Ms. Harris pledged to raise them to 35%. The survival of the Trump tax cuts rests in our hands.

While Ms. Harris laughs with delight at the prospect of global power, Taiwan conducts military drills to fight China, Ukraine suffers under the yoke of Russian tyranny and Israel languishes under the Biden-Harris policy of abject appeasement of the Palestinians and the political left. Mr. Trump, meanwhile, expanded military spending to record levels to protect Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan. He championed a record of peace through the Abraham Accords. Most crucially, he declared American independence through tariffs on Chinese products and the extraction of oil to spur self-sufficiency in a time of war.

So do not become distracted by the theatrics of the totalitarian Democratic Party. The only recourse for achieving glory for future generations is to vote for Donald Trump and J.D. Vance in November.
