There they go again (“Report: Biden to push limits on justices,” web, July 16).
“Woke” Democrats can’t stand being brought to heel by the Constitution. Without the votes for a game-changing amendment such as Prohibition, they twist the Supreme Court’s arm. If the justices do not oblige with a creative stroke of genius like they did with Roe v. Wade, the left attacks the court.
Does this latest assault on the Supreme Court make President Biden an existential threat to the very oxygen in Earth’s atmosphere? No. Those days are over. In Cuba, they put it this way: “Ya no pica ni muerde,” which means “It no longer stings or bites.”
