OPINION:
The Biden administration has been a spectacular disaster for the nation, but this is eclipsed by the absolutely criminal transfer of wealth from hardworking Americans to the undeserving.
It is a two-phased transfer, one to the millions of illegal immigrants costing the country billions of dollars, and the other to the Democratic elites and special interest groups of the Bidens’ Green New Deal. The backdrop is an unsustainable federal deficit of trillions of dollars with no apparent plan for paying it off. It is a hallmark of the Democratic elite belief system to think of the average American taxpayer as no more than a bank to fund lavish personal lifestyles.
It is ironic that private organizations — especially veteran organizations — have to beg for donations to help U.S. citizens while an illegal immigrant can simply wade across the Rio Grande and get flown around the country, put up in fancy hotels and given credit cards and free health care and education.
On the flip side we have the war on fossil fuels, which the Biden administration is waging while it dumps huge sums into “sustainable” initiatives that eventually fail — but not before the officers and big investors have made fortunes. Billions of dollars for charging stations and electric buses and then bankruptcy have made many rich while leaving the taxpayer holding the bill. The classic “pump and dump” that has become the signature of the top Democrats.
This transfer of wealth is a classic instrument of communist and socialist states — and it always ends up hurting the average person.
