OPINION:
We all see what can’t be unseen and what President Biden refuses to see: a manifestly unfit candidate for the presidency (“The Bidens’ last dance as Dr. Macbeth scrambles for family’s financial survival,” web, July 10).
The legacy media, White House staff and first family — driven by hysteria over Donald Trump’s challenge and the desire to stay the course of presidential power and perks — camouflaged months of mental deterioration by fabricating a narrative of a sharp-as-a-tack president running rings around his much younger staff.
The disguise was unmasked during the recent presidential debate by a slack-jawed chief executive with a vacant stare. It vindicated special counsel Robert Hur’s description of Mr. Biden as an elderly man with memory problems, a picture the White House and liberal commentators decried at the time (before the truth was unveiled and the deception of the American people could no longer be denied).
The first lady is the chief enabler of this monumental deception and must end the abuse of her husband and the nation.
