Prince George’s County police said a teenage boy died Friday in a wrong-way crash after he drove a stolen minivan into oncoming traffic in Clinton.

Authorities said Shaun Shelton, 15, of Accokeek, was driving the minivan near the intersection of Piscataway Road and King Gallahan Court around 12:30 p.m. Friday when he veered head-on into a pickup truck.

Police said Shaun was pronounced dead at the scene.



Another teen passenger in the minivan was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The pickup driver was taken to a hospital with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the car was reported stolen in Charles County earlier on Friday.
