St. Louis police said they arrested two men on Tuesday after authorities said a male victim was knocked out, had a bottle smashed over him and was urinated on by a pair of assailants.

Police said the two suspects, men ages 18 and 20, were arrested Tuesday after admitting they were in the street fight. No charges have been filed.

The fight originally occurred around 5:30 p.m. Monday near Downtown West when police said a drunk, 52-year-old man began arguing with the 18-year-old.

Authorities said the two traded punches until the 20-year-old joined the younger man.

The male victim was soon knocked down, and the two assailants continued to kick the older man on the ground.

The victim eventually became unconscious. Police said the assailants broke a bottle on the victim’s body while he lay lifeless, then relieved themselves on him.

Authorities said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.
