United Nations Resolution 1701 clearly states that southern Lebanon, south of the Litani River, must be demilitarized. Neither terrorist military personnel nor their weapons are permitted to be there.

This rule has been in place for many years, yet recently, there were 150,000 Hezbollah rockets stored there. (The current estimate has the number at 130,000; this is because 20,000 rockets were fired in civilian areas of Israel.)

While there are soldiers under the U.N. flag in this area, they are clearly not doing their jobs.
