Fairfax County police said a teenage boy was stabbed to death Saturday, the first homicide of 2024 in the Northern Virginia suburb.
Authorities said two other teens were hospitalized with stab wounds in the incident that took place at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of Wadsworth Court in Annandale.
Officers responded to the scene to find a 17-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds in a grassy area.
The boy was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police have yet to identify the victim.
Police said a 14-year-old boy was found suffering from stab wounds in an apartment near where the 17-year-old victim was located. Authorities said they took the 14-year-old to a hospital for treatment.
Shortly after, police said an 18-year-old, who wasn’t identified by name or sex, went to a hospital for stab-related injuries.
Detectives said the 17-year-old boy and the 14-year-old boy knew each other and had previous disputes.
