OPINION:
The recent Alabama Supreme Court decision on in vitro fertilization services is an embarrassment to the entire country (“Facing backlash over IVF ruling, Alabama lawmakers look for a fix,” web, Feb. 26). I believe the court violated the First Amendment and established its view on religion rather than examining the merit of the lawsuit.
Embryos are not children. The entire Alabama Supreme Court should resign or be impeached by the Alabama Legislature over this issue. The justices should not be allowed to keep their law licenses, either, as they have no business being involved in the law.
Resign or be impeached.
