OPINION:
An American with dual Russian-U.S. citizenship is being held by Russian authorities on a bogus charge of treason for having donated $51 to Ukraine. Is the Biden administration going to try to get this woman back, or will it just let her rot in a Russian jail?
If President Biden chooses not to do anything, he is a coward and a traitor. A lack of response would also show that he doesn’t care about this woman, her family, the other Americans being held unjustly by Russia or their families.
The U.S. should demand that Russia either release the Americans it’s holding or face severe consequences.
Russia is no friend to us or the rest of the free world. If it doesn’t release the Americans, it’s time to break off diplomatic relations with Moscow. Vladimir Putin’s government is nothing more than a cadre of criminals, terrorists and communists.
