OPINION:
The Democrats are complaining that the Supreme Court is the judicial right arm of the Republican Party simply because they disagree with recent rulings. The justices rule by the Constitution, not ideology. To the political left, the Constitution is a pesky document that should be replaced and the Supreme Court is an entity that needs to be packed with liberals.
The Russia collusion narrative, impeachment for a phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and calling the Hunter Biden laptop “Russian disinformation” were all stories pushed by the Democrats and a complicit media. Every one of them was debunked, but no apologies were ever given. Their goal was to take down Donald Trump, and if they had to tell egregious lies to do it, so be it.
For 3½ years, the Democrats and the mainstream media propped up President Biden, saying he was at the top of his game. But the first 2024 presidential debate uncovered this hoax and the Democrats, along with much of the media, were exposed, too.
How did Kamala Harris not see this — or did she? Now the lowest-rated vice president in U.S. history has been chosen as the Democrats’ presidential candidate. And right on cue, the left is hard at work erasing her ludicrous past statements and abysmal record. They’re even portraying her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, as a moderate with Midwestern values.
Mr. Biden’s record is Ms. Harris’ record. She’s touted it for years. Now she must own it, and the media can’t hide it.
