OPINION:
With the 2024 presidential campaign all but over, who might be delighted with the Nov. 5 election of Harris and Walz? The leaders of North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon, Cuba, Syria, China, Iraq, Laos, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Guatemala and Russia, that’s who.
These and other despotically governed countries will be eager to deal with the Harris administration, for behind the smiling faces and engaging demeanor of this two-member team is a poorly hidden socialist ideology that’s closer to those regimes than our own republican form of government, given to us by the founders of the United States. Ambitious to replicate an oppressed citizenry like past, failed Communist and Nazi regimes, this new presidency will be one that believes those failed because they were not properly controlled. All hope is lost.
