If the Democrats and the Biden campaign think getting rid of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will help President Biden’s reelection chances, they are sorely mistaken.

It’s simple: If Democrats somehow succeed in getting rid of Mr. Kennedy, his supporters just won’t vote at all (add to that the slippage in support for Mr. Biden from 2020). These voters are supporting Mr. Kennedy because they don’t want either Mr. Biden or Donald Trump to be our next president. Mr. Kennedy represents, to them, a radical alternative to the corruption coming from both Democrats and Republicans.

And here I thought Mr. Trump was the deviant disrupter of D.C.’s status quo. In many respects, he has nothing on Mr. Kennedy. For one thing, Mr. Kennedy lacks the legal baggage that’s dogging Mr. Trump.
