OPINION:
It’s difficult to believe that a jury would find former President Donald Trump liable in a 27-year-old rape case (“Civil trial verdict in E. Jean Carroll lawsuit deals another loss to Trump,” web, May 9).
Even though the jury did not find Mr. Trump committed rape, it did find him liable for sexual assault and defamation. This entire brouhaha is nothing but a politically motivated witch hunt that will no doubt help to sell the accuser’s new book. Â
