Dark times, indeed

OPINION:

Today we find our nation in very dark times. What was once considered good is now considered bad, and vice versa.

Half of our nation believes there is nothing wrong with abortion. Liberals tell us men can have babies, and they call the mutilation of children’s bodies “gender-affirming care.”

We honor the heroes who have died for our country just one day a year — Memorial Day — but celebrate Pride Month for a full 30 days a year. (Remind me, again, why everyone must celebrate romance between same-sex couples.)

Meanwhile, we have a president who goes out and reads what he has been told to read. The president’s son, a crack user and wannabe porn star, has made millions from his father’s position.

He even had the gall to claim prostitutes and sex-club memberships as tax write-offs. Because of his liberal-elite status, Hunter Biden got a sweetheart deal on tax and gun charges.

With its handling of that news, the liberal media completely ruined any positive reputation it had left.

The mainstream reporting outlets routinely lie and cover up for the political left’s elites, especially the Bidens. Merrick Garland’s Justice Department has been politicized and has protected the Bidens while going after the Democrats’ main political rival, Donald Trump, at all costs.

I have little confidence left that we will ever get to the truth. Did President Biden make millions selling his political influence? Have Justice and the FBI covered up the crimes of the Biden family?

As the picture becomes clearer, every day millions of Americans are coming to the conclusion that Mr. Biden has sold out our country and agency leadership has been totally corrupted.
