LANDOVER — The Washington Commanders face a must-win type of game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. But they’ll be missing some important contributors for the contest.

Cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, safety Kam Curl and running back Antonio Gibson were all part of the team’s inactives that were announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff. St-Juste and Curl are dealing with ankle injuries, while Gibson was listed out Friday with knee and foot injuries.

The absences are notable as Washington’s secondary will be without two marquee starters. Curl, who will miss his second straight game with the injury, was limited in practice throughout the week and was downgraded to doubtful on Saturday.

St-Juste, meanwhile, suffered “a little bit of a setback” on his ankle during his return last week against the San Francisco 49ers. St-Juste previously missed three games with the same injury.

Washington’s full list of inactives are:

- Gibson (foot/knee)

- Curl (ankle)

- St-Juste (ankle)
