OPINION:
It was recently revealed that Rep. Rashida Tlaib now displays a Palestinian flag in the office she occupies at the U.S. Capitol as the Democratic representative of Michigan’s 12th District.
Have we already forgotten the photographs and video recording the reactions of throngs of Palestinians immediately following the infamous 9/11 attacks on our country? (To wit, those recordings we managed to obtain in spite of the best efforts of Palestinian authorities to confiscate or destroy them.) I’m referring to the clips showing Palestinians of all ages dancing, cheering, firing rifles into the air, throwing candy off rooftops to children below, and otherwise celebrating.
Hopefully, enough voters in Michigan’s 12th District will remember or look up some of these video clips or stills before casting their votes for their congressional candidates in 2024.
