OPINION:
The Biden administration’s perversion seems to know no end. Recently, a Senate aide was caught on tape having sex in a congressional hearing room (“Dem staffer out from Senate job after revelation of sex video shot in Capitol Hill hearing room,” web, Dec. 16).
A few weeks before that, an anti-White burlesque show was given in the festively decorated White House (“White House holiday video slammed for evoking ‘Hunger Games’ or ‘Clockwork Orange’ for children,” web, Dec. 14).
No longer does decency and honor live in the hallowed halls of our government buildings. “We, the people” have lost our way and abandoned our Father in heaven during this most sacred time of his birth.
Have we forgotten why our ancestors came to this land? They came to escape the tyrants who denied them the right to worship as they chose. But it seems history has begun repeating itself, as we see our First and Fourth amendments being trampled by a tyrannical government.
Even as I write this, a voice in my head cautions against it — because if I do, the government could drag me from my home for being an “extremist.” How sad it is that in this country we now pause before speaking the truth.
Is this truly the end of our republic? Have we become cowards, too fearful of what others may say to do what is right? Or will we stand together in defense of this constitutional republic?
We must not let evil win. When I joined this nation’s armed forces, I raised my hand and repeated the oath to uphold the Constitution. Sadly, many of our elected took the same oath but ignore those words.
