OPINION:
The main function of government is to protect and support its citizens. President Biden’s immigration policy is directly affecting American citizens. Billions of dollars are being spent on illegal immigrants, with citizens forced to foot the bill for everything from transportation to education, health care and telephones — even, in some cases, credit cards.
To put this in perspective, Tennessee just experienced a devastating storm that basically wiped out entire communities. Many of these victims were soldiers stationed at Fort Campbell. Is the government going to support them at the same level it supports illegal immigrants? I think not. Instead, appeals will be sent out for American citizens to help.
Focusing on illegals to the detriment of U.S. citizens is a hallmark of the Biden administration. It is an affront not just to our citizens, but to all our taxpayers who have had their hard-earned money spent on policies they don’t support.
Do we think Mr. Biden would take in illegal immigrants at his beach house?
