President Biden may not pardon Hunter Biden if the latter did, in fact, commit federal crimes (“Hunter Biden’s felony tax evasion charges set stage for House vote on impeachment inquiry,” web, Dec. 9).

Mr. Biden’s pardoning of his son would constitute a conflict of interest in total violation of constitutional principles. I hope we all see the problem here if Hunter truly did commit federal crimes.
