The left is lying

OPINION:

So former President Donald Trump is lying (“Trump pleads not guilty on ’sad day’; Capitol riot case poised to put free political speech on trial,” web, Aug. 3)?

It seems history has already proved him right on just about everything he’s claimed (the Russia collusion hoax, his campaign being spied on and the Hunter Biden laptop).

Any rational person would plausibly come to the conclusion that President Biden, the Democratic National Committee and the mainstream media are the real liars here.

The elder Mr. Biden has lied throughout his career. The Democratic Party, in collusion with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, concocted the Steele dossier, which former President Barack Obama, Mr. Biden, Mrs. Clinton, and both the Department of Justice and FBI knew was a hoax.

The New York Times won a Pulitzer Prize thanks to a reporter who got the story wrong. Fifty-one senior administration officials signed a bogus letter affirming that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian “disinformation.”

The American people are supposed to believe the DOJ and FBI are beyond reproach and are not biased, but these are the very people who have actively worked against conservatives and the American people to interfere in the 2024 presidential election.

And they’ve done it with the support of the corrupt mainstream media.

Not one of these individuals has been jailed for their actions, or even apologized to the American public. That is the hallmark of the political left: Anything goes in the pursuit of power.
