OPINION:
I’d vote for Donald Trump now even if George Washington were running for the same office. I believe George would do the same, recognizing the outsized wrong that has been done to a proud and patriotic citizen of the United States.
After surviving seven years of illegal, relentless harassment, Mr. Trump now symbolizes America itself: a strong, unstoppable warrior under siege by enemies.
