U.S. needs moral president

OPINION:

It’s kind of difficult to understand die-hard Trump supporters. While it’s true that when he was president, Donald Trump had the economy rolling along prior to COVID-19 — with the Black unemployment rate at a record low — the way he panders to heterophobic homosexuals such as the Log Cabin Republicans is thoroughly degrading. Then there are his old, recorded, vulgar remarks, in which he actually bragged about groping women.

Further, any man who pays prostitutes for sex and then also pays them to keep quiet about it doesn’t deserve to be president.  

Our country is in moral decline. That’s obvious to anyone with half a brain. We need to right the ship and turn things around. People like former Presidents Bill Clinton and Trump set bad moral examples for our country and contribute to its deterioration.

If Mr. Trump really cares about this country and the Republican Party, he should go back to being a businessman and leave politics to people who don’t have all his baggage. If he doesn’t, he could drag this country and the Republican Party down with him.
