OPINION:
President Biden and the Democrats are pushing gender change for preteens without parents’ knowledge (“Biden puts girls at risk to advance radical transgender agenda,” Web, Oct. 31). Great Britain is closing down all its preteen and early-teen gender-change programs because they are experiencing so many problems. Children mutilated to “become” another sex grow — after much mental and physical suffering — to deeply regret what they often felt forced to do.
What’s more, most countries do not support these early sex-change procedures. The science is not there to support it, and most studies seem to indicate there are too many problems with it. So why do Mr. Biden and the Democrats continue to push it?
Follow the money. As we know from what Vanderbilt University Medical Center let slip, there is a lot to be made in early sex-change procedures and treatment. That Mr. Biden and the Dems are pushing hard to bring these surgeries to us in ever greater numbers should awaken us. They do not care about these children or the problems that will arise down the road. This is just like the left’s policies on abortion, open borders, drug use and poverty.
There is a pattern here. The Democrats do not care what pain and death their policies bring, as long as they get what they want. I suggest that we follow the money and find out how much cash Democratic politicians advocating for these policies make from them.
