OPINION:
The U.S., Britain and Russia (yes, Russia!) were the signatories to the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, which called for Ukraine to hand over the third-largest supply of nukes to Russia in return for the U.S., Britain and Russia agreeing to protect Ukraine from future invasion.
The U.S. and Britain have the overwhelming military strength to stop Vladimir Putin’s Ukraine invasion without firing a shot. Since both nations have publicly refused to intervene militarily as originally promised in writing, the U.S. and Britain have blood on their hands as illegal cluster bombs and other banned weapons kill innocent Ukrainian children and their families.
Sanctions have no chance of stopping Stalin 2022, who would rather die than lose to a U.S. president as weak as ours. Why didn’t Mr. Putin invade when Donald Trump was in office? Only a leftist wouldn’t be able to answer that.
