OPINION:
As Democrats and RINO members of the GOP make a run at a third Trump impeachment, conspicuously ignored is any suggestion that the following are illegal: ballot harvesting, running stacks of ballots multiple times through counting machines, buying mail-in ballots, sewer service of mail-in ballots and filling out ballots in back rooms.
If anything, former President Donald Trump may have underestimated the patriotic fervor of some of his supporters, but much of the fault for the bedlam of Jan. 6, 2021, falls not on Mr. Trump’s authorization of 20,000 National Guard troops to maintain order but on the failure of local and federal agencies to activate the armed troops. Perhaps this was done in the hope that there would be enough of a row to further prior false narratives against Mr. Trump.
