OPINION:
“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” The Democrats have taken the Bard’s words to new heights — or more accurately, new lows. The Afghan withdrawal was a success. The border is secure (even as we witness a massive influx of illegals and goodness knows who else). No longer are there just women and men; simply pick anything in between at any particular moment. Crime is rampant, but the guise of reform is justification for letting violent offenders free to repeat over and over without fear of consequences.
And now, according to President Biden and his cohorts, two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth is not indicative of a recession. Just like inflation, the economy is in transition.
With all due respect to the Bard, raw sewage by any other name would smell as bad.
