Biden, puppet on wheels

There are some things you see in life that you can’t unsee. I recently viewed news footage of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar pretending to be arrested outside the Supreme Court building, where a crowd had gathered to protest the court’s recent abortion decision (“AOC, Omar fake being handcuffed in protest outside Supreme Court,” Web, July 19).

As a former law-enforcement officer, I’ve seen politicians do some despicable things to get attention — but this is sickening if you consider that these two imbeciles are using my brother officers to play politics instead of allowing them to enforce the law.

With that, a disturbing thought came to me when I heard President Biden say he’s running for a second term. My memory jumped right back to seeing the late Sen. Strom Thurmond being wheeled down the aisle at some event; I believe he was 100 years old and still in Congress. It was clear he was being used as a puppet by people who just wanted to keep their jobs.

That brings me back to Mr. Biden, who will soon be getting wheeled around and dictated to himself, by the puppet master of the moment. In my opinion, Mr. Biden long ago lost the fire in his belly and should never have even run for president. His misguided deeds speak for themselves. Those in control now and leading Mr. Biden by the nose simply don’t want to lose their jobs or power.
