Does anyone remember the old movie “Harvey,” in which Jimmy Stewart plays Elwood P. Dowd, the only character in the film able to see the rabbit, Harvey? It was one year ago when President Biden claimed that inflation was temporary. Yet inflation now appears to be a permanent part of our economy with no end in sight. In fact, year-over-year inflation recently reached 9.1%,
President Biden can’t seem to see the rabbit; the rest of us can.
