Washington teammates came to blows.

No, not those ones.

Weeks after Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne fought on the sideline of the Washington Football Team’s blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Wizards reportedly got into a dustup of their own. During halftime of Tuesday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Wizards center Montrezl Harrell and forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope started swinging at each other and had to be separated by teammates, The Athletic reported.

The argument reportedly started when Harrell got upset at Caldwell-Pope for not passing him the ball before halftime. The two then got into a heated verbal exchange on the way to the locker room — leading each to throw punches, none of which landed. Both went on to play in the second half.

Harrell addressed the report on Instagram on Wednesday after former Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas — no stranger to teammate confrontations — chimed in on the matter.

The Wizards narrowly beat the Thunder, 122-118. Harrell, making his return from COVID-19 protocols, had 12 points and 7 rebounds in 24 minutes. Caldwell-Pope had 16 points and three assists in nearly 30 minutes.
