OPINION:
Rather than protesting totalitarian government abuses by bringing trucks into a national capital and incurring punitive actions by clogging everything up, it seems to me a far better tactic for truckers would be to refuse to haul goods to those capitals. They would thereby deprive the vindictive creatures who live there of all the things they want.
If we built blockades around the same capitals, refused to let the worst of its denizens out and refused to allow in the food, water, fuel, electricity and other things they deny us or use as instruments of control over us, sooner or later they would be forced to capitulate.
(And whether they ate each other before they did would be entirely up to them.)
