OPINION:
The American political system is corrupt and being destroyed by our own so-called leaders. Members of Congress are outright communists, left-wing liberals or just plain power-hungry.
Why are they deliberately ruining their own country? They do not protect our borders from illegal invaders; they spend too much money, causing inflation and recession; they print endless dollars, adding to our national debt; they cut our natural energy supply; they fund criminals and our enemies but target God-fearing Christians. Why? All so they can let in over 30 million illegals they know will vote for them.
Why does Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell say that the current $1.7 trillion budget is a good thing for Americans? Has he lost his mind or is he just such good friends with Sen. Chuck Schumer he genuinely believes it? Why does the government need this much money to do its business for just a few months?
Under the latest spending package, federal spending will be increased enormously from the last fiscal year, and will include millions in funding for such nonsense as a Michelle Obama Trail and federal financial support for an LGBTQ museum. It also includes sending additional funds to Ukraine to support the ongoing war with Russia, and border security for numerous countries (but not the U.S.). What are our elected officials doing if they cannot protect and support the American taxpayer?Â
America is changing for the worse — and the change is being accomplished from within. It is time to demand responsibility and accountability.
