OPINION:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is absolutely correct (“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis decries ’weaponization’ of federal agencies after Mar-a-Lago raid,” Web, Aug. 9). The FBI is practicing partisan politics. Democrats have been trying to take former President Donald Trump down since day one when he was elected in 2016. Not only is it their central focus, it’s become a national obsession.
But come November, there will no doubt be some big changes. Democrats will get their comeuppance and suffer huge, self-inflicted losses in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. And that is when Congress will be able to rein in the FBI.
