As an immigrant to the United States myself, I believe that many immigrants have a positive impact on the United States. But reviewing the situation of Afghanistan and the influx to the U.S. of many Afghans, it is clear this is a humanitarian crises created by U.S. foreign policy.

Supporting the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and ending a war may have been common-sense, but the withdrawal plan quickly became a disaster not only for the Afghans, but for our troops and many other Americans.

The consequences of the withdrawal strategy have stretched into Americans’ homes, and American people have became part of unwanted problems. The irony in President Biden’s recent speech and his actions shows the purpose behind the troop withdrawal: political interests. In political decisions the interests of the people are disregarded. Hence, the public carries the burden of the consequences.

The influx of Afghan refugees is the result of a strategy and plan conducted by American politicians for the purpose of maintaining power. The Biden administration has created an immigration disaster, which is causing Americans to pay the the price both socially and economically.

The Biden administration was not held responsible for the failure of the withdrawal strategy, which resulted in chaos in Afghanistan and the murders of our troops and allies. The hypocrisy of the Democratic politicians is a perilous one that endangers the interest of Americans.

The two Muslims Congresswomen, Rashida Tlaib and Illhan Omar, have remained silent during this crisis and the deaths of many Muslims Afghans. The voices of such politicians are only ever heard when it’s time to serve their own interests.
