LANCASTER, Mass. (AP) - The Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps is honoring four people who are advocates for the nation’s most vulnerable youth.

During the virtual event scheduled for Tuesday, former Congressman Joseph Kennedy III, grandson of the late senator, will honor Jim Geraghty, managing director of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management; Justin Pasquariello, executive director of East Boston Social Centers; the Rev. Liz Walker, pastor of Roxbury Presbyterian Church; and Marty Meehan, president of University of Massachusetts, for their community and advocacy work.

Joseph Kennedy is a board member and event co-chair for the organization. In its 52nd year of service, the nonprofit works to develop and implement successful models of child welfare, social service and juvenile justice programs.

The Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps, an affiliate of Doctor Franklin Perkins School, operates programs and services for at-risk children and families, including community-based initiatives and residential treatment.
