This Memorial Day will be like none other in America’s past. On a day when we honor the sacrifice of brave men and women who have given their lives for the freedom and liberty we hold so dear, this year the celebration takes place under the dark cloud of tyranny.

In just over 100 days, the imposters President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have taken great strides to shred our Constitution, abolish the sanctity of human life, enhance racial division and weaken our armed forces. Instead of leadership that exemplifies patriotism and love for American values, our men and women in uniform now find themselves under a radical secretary of Defense who is more determined to rid the military of Trump supporters than he is concerned with protecting American ideals.

As the Stars and Stripes unfurl across the nation today, the thought of Black Lives Matter flags being flown at our U.S. embassies, under the direction of Mr. Biden, is not only disheartening, it is downright treasonous, too.

As someone who served in the Marine Corps, I can attest our military is composed of the some of the finest people, from all ethnicities and colors: Black, White and brown. However, to identify with the Marxist, anti-family platforms of BLM shows utter contempt for American values.

Gen. George Patton once said, “It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” Today let us thank God for all those who served and pray to God that we, the patriots who remain, will have the courage to stand and fight, not allowing their sacrifice to have been in vain.
