WOODSIDE, Utah (AP) - One person has died and another was injured in an off-highway vehicle rollover crash in Utah on Sunday, authorities said.

The Wellington Fire Department responded Sunday around 5:30 p.m. to assist two people in the crash near Woodside, about 160 miles (257 kilometers) southeast of Salt Lake City, KTVX-TV reported.

“Unfortunately, one of the crash victims received fatal injuries and our efforts turned into a recovery rather than a rescue,” the department said in a post on Facebook.

The condition of the other person and what caused the crash were not immediately known. No further details were made public.

Authorities also reported a 12-year-old boy died in a farming accident in Spanish Fork on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. after he fell off a bicycle.

Utah County spokesperson Spencer Cannon said the boy was riding a bicycle with his brother as his father followed behind with a side-by-side towing a trailer. Cannon said the boy fell off the bicycle and was run over. He died before Life Flight could arrive.
