OPINION:
Step by step this country is turning into something that resembles the Soviet bloc. Our nation’s history is being erased and radical ideology is filling the void.
The latest attack is against Jeep (“Cherokee chief asks Jeep to stop using tribe’s name: ’It certainly doesn’t honor us,’” Web, Feb. 23). Use of the word Cherokee is now considered racist.
Where does the insanity end? The left opened the flood gates and everyone wants to be a victim. So what do we do now — destroy all Jeep Cherokees?
Try as you might, history doesn’t go away. If you have a need to find offensive words or items, you have way too much time on your hands.
