ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - A collision involving a sports utility vehicle and a motorcycle killed two people and injured two others near downtown St. Petersburg early Friday, police said.
The crash happened around 4:20 a.m., St. Petersburg police said.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. Crews took three people from the SUV to the hospital, where one person died, police said. One of the injured was listed in critical condition.
Police officers closed the road so the traffic homicide unit could investigate the crash.
