Body found in a Phoenix canal; No word on gender or age yet

PHOENIX (AP) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a Phoenix canal.

A Phoenix Fire Department crew was sent to the scene Thursday morning after a report of a body found.

First responders said the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police didn’t immediately release any information on person’s gender or age.
