WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - A man died in an overnight shooting at a Wichita home, and homicide detectives were searching for a suspect, police there said.
The shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, television station KAKE reported. Officers called to the home where the shooting was reported found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. The man died from his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Several witnesses in the home told investigators the shooting happened during an argument, police said. Police were searching for a suspect, and no arrests had been reported by midmorning Wednesday.
