WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - A Wichita police officer was injured when a patrol car crashed during the pursuit of a stolen vehicle early Thursday, police said.
The officer was treated and released from a Wichita hospital after the chase, police spokesman Trevor Macy said.
The chase began when officers tried to stop the vehicle in south Wichita. The suspect turned and collided with a patrol car, causing it to crash into a home, Macy said.
