OPINION:
President Biden said last weekend, “Our silence is complicity” (“Speak out:’ Biden, Harris decry racism during Atlanta visit,” Web, March 20). However, nowadays the power of speech has become less and less a freedom and more and more a chance to brainwash people into apologizing.
With practically every politician now talking about initiatives underway to mandate diversity and inclusion at every organization, why are there so many deep-rooted concessions aiding the disadvantaged?
While censorship progressively cancels our civil liberties, being a caucasian baby boomer I suppose an apology is in order for a letter such as this.
