WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - A driver whom police believe caused a deadly two-car crash in northeastern Wichita has been arrested, officials said.

Police arrested Luis Ramos-Tafolla, 28, on suspicion of vehicular homicide, drunken driving, reckless driving, having no valid driver’s license and violating a duty to give police information, officials said.

Investigators said Ramos-Tafolla was driving a Dodge Charger on Interstate 135 when he rear-ended a car driven by 60-year-old Jessie Lee Johnson, who died at the scene. Ramos-Tafolla’s car then vaulted over the side of the raised interstate and fell to the ground below, police said.

Two passengers in Johnson’s car - a 62-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman - were hospitalized with serious injuries. Ramos-Tafolla was treated for minor injuries, police said.
