Could we be honest for just a second? Is anyone else sick and tired of “racism” and ‘”white supremacy” being hurled at the heads of anyone who dares have a thought, word or deed that is deemed out of line (“U.K. palace ends silence on Harry, Meghan racism allegations,” Web, March 9)? Could we have these terms defined, please?

No countries on earth are less racist than the U.S. and the U.K., period. In these countries Black people occupy many positions of power, influence and financial reward. Barack Obama was elected president because of the support of White people; Oprah Winfrey’s wealth and fame are the result of her popularity among people without color.

Speculating on the color of a mixed-race baby is as normal as wondering about the appearance of any unborn child. It is not “racist.” This obsession with race in some quarters is the real racism.
