NEW YORK (AP) - A 14-year-old girl was stabbed in a Brooklyn subway station after an argument with a woman, police said.

The dispute started at 6 p.m. Friday inside a deli on Rutland Road in the Brownsville neighborhood, police said.

After arguing with the woman, the 14-year-old girl left the deli and entered a subway station, police said. The woman followed the teen into the station and stabbed her in the chest, they said.



The teenager was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical but stable condition. Her name was not released.

Police have made no arrests.
