OPINION:
The failure of the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on the most momentous problem America has faced in memory is unbelievable, and all the justices should be removed for this failure (“Supreme Court rejects Trump’s final election challenge,” Web, March 8). The members of the Supreme Court are American citizens first and foremost. The situation facing them was simply that a number of crucial states did not follow the U.S. Constitution.
Various legislatures, not governors, secretaries of state or others, are supposed to make the voting rules. The fraud in a number of states was painfully obvious to all and resulted in the residency being awarded to the losing candidate.
The Supreme Court was probably fearful of the blowback that would result — including death threats — from liberals. However, the National Security Agency and other agencies have the ability to identify the sources of such threats, and there are means of protection available.
America is now in a situation wherein a fraudulent president was inaugurated and America is plunging into an Orwellian nightmare.
