DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state of Delaware has marked its eighth consecutive day of declining hospitalizations related to the coronavirus.
The Delaware State News reported Wednesday that the number of individuals hospitalized with the virus is down to 95.
That’s a decrease of four compared to the day prior. It’s also the lowest number since Oct. 30.
The Delaware Division of Public Health said 28 of the hospital cases are considered critical.
Hospitalizations in the state peaked at 474 on Jan. 12. The number dropped by 379 over the last two months.
Meanwhile, the state has reported 205 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 88,891. There have been 1,492 COVID-19-related deaths in Delaware.
Health officials also say that 286,933 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered.
